One of the things I enjoy most is getting in my kayak and paddling along our wonderful rivers. There is now a terrific new website provided by Paddle NSW with the launch of their new online Waterways Guide.
The Guide provides descriptions of rivers, lakes, estuaries and the seas off the coast of Australia. It is based on the touring information published in the Canoeing Guide to New South Wales book and enables it to be updated, and enhanced with maps, photos, real time weather and river data, access points, trails and camping spots. The original information is being extended with the assistance of keen paddlers to include all waterways including estuaries and seas.
