If you are in and around Yass on the 7th of April come and join the Rivers of Carbon team for a great day in Yass Gorge exploring native fish, bush tucker, indigenous river stories, Yass Gorge rehabilitation, and of course some cooked carp with our culinary giant Luke Pearce!

We will have Waterwatch, Landcare, Greening Australia, Yass Valley Council and many more local groups along with us, we would love to see you too!

There will be ‘walk and talks’ throughout the day, as well as an expo area for local groups all working to protect and restore Yass Gorge. Landholders interested in becoming a part of our new Rivers of Carbon – Yass River Linkages Phase Two project will also be able to talk to members of the RoC team.

This will be a great day out for the family, with local traders providing coffee and food.
